Directions
Combine everything: In a bowl, combine the cocoa powder, cottage cheese and sweetener to taste.
Serve directly or store in the fridge: We usually make in a large batch. The flavors melt together and the texture becomes more dense, more like chocolate pudding, when you store it in the fridge for a few hours.
Serve cold.
Tips
Use a creamy, not too watery and not too sour cottage cheese, to get the best result.
The exact amount of sweetener depends on the bitterness of your cocoa powder and personal preference.
If you want to add extra fat to it, desiccated coconut, coconut oil or a few tablespoons mascarpone (about 2-3 tbspn) are good options.
If you don’t like the cottage cheese texture, you can blend it with an (immersion) blender.
